It will be more of a corporate social responsibility stunt when six dancehall artists, Seh Calaz, Jah Signal, Hwindi President, Ras Japan,Ras Boom and Ace Kater perfom in Bulawayo and Victoria Falls early next month .
The show is slated for 5 April in Bulawayo, at The Vista club while the Victoria Falls show will be on the 6 April at the Adventure Lodge.
The price tag is usually pegged at $7 for a one artist show, but for this one it will be pegged at $10 for the six of them.
“The only major difference is the venue, our fans are always of the same level of importance, we value them the same, so artists are always out to give them the best value for their money. Normally, it’s about $7 to go to a one artist show but now it’s 5 artists per event at $10 bond, that’s what we call giving back to the community,” Terminator Makoni, the organizer of the show, said.
Makoni added that fans must expect top notch performances on the day of the events.
He said, “Fireworks are expected, this is the first time for us to organize a family show in Vic falls and to boost this, I’m told this is the first family show in more than 4 years. Hwindi will be proving to people why he is named President, Sigy is ready make them dance, they accept that he is tirarira ndiye anorira and Calaz is also ready to show them why he is called Mabhandit boss. All the other artists are also ready to prove their top shelf capabilities.”
“Kids also stand a chance to enjoy life time activities at an outdoor big space, it’s really a day not to be missed and it will be a day to remember years after.”
