Former Dynamos gaffer, who made headlines last season for being fired, being hired and fired again, Lloyd Mutasa, has now found a home in the form of newboys-Telone FC after months of job searching since the disbanding of the national team’s technical bench in August.
Mutasa will be assisted by a seasoned goalkeeper’s trainer, who recently left the struggling Bulawayo giants- Highlanders FC, Tembo Tshuma, who has vast experience of the local football as he formerly worked with ZPC Kariba and Triangle FC.
Club president, Lloyd Mtetwa, announced the appointment of Mutasa and Tshuma in a press release issued earlier today.
“Telone FC is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Lloyd Mutasa as the head coach and Mr Tembo Tshuma as his fist assistant and goalkeeper’s coach with immediate effect,” the statement read.
The WiFi boys are currently battling to stay out of the relegation zone positioned at number 15 with 24 points, with only eight points separating the bottom four teams comprising Herentals, Bulawayo Chiefs and Yadah FC.
