“Team Mat-south is looking to improve on the medal table. We should go all the way to win the 2020 edition .This time we are aiming position one. It has been a while since we last won the Nash competition,” He said.
About 98 athletes selected from an inter-district competition held at Plumtree School last week will represent the province against their peers at a date yet to be confirmed.
Mr Sebata said coming up with the team was a challenging a process as it was done over one event.
“We would have loved to have more competitions to select athletes based on their best times, distances and heights,” he said.
The NASH competitions are organized from cluster level all the way to national level.
All provinces will be represented
